WHO IS MUZLM?

First off, thanks for being interested in our independent brand. 

Mercy - La Ilaha Ilallah. Allah's mercy put us here and his mercy made us Muslim. We're here to honour that.
Unity - Muzlm is a community. Men, Women, Boys & Girls... theres something here for everybody. 
Zikir - Islam is about supporting your community. We aim to donate a percentage of our profits to countries in need.
Loyalty - Loyal to our deen. The world changes, trends fade, and people will always try to push us away from our religion. MUZLM is about staying loyal to who we are.
Modesty - Our clothing never compromises one of the most fundamental principles: staying modest.

WHY "MUZLM"?

Most people who’ve lived in a non-Muslim country or a predominantly Christian society will get this more than anyone. Our peers growing up, classmates, coworkers, people from non-Muslim backgrounds... would always laugh at us and make jokes about our strict no-drinking, halal diet, our worship routines, our “weird” names, anything they could say just to be disrespectful.

One thing I’ll always remember is hearing people pronounce the word Muslim funny as a joke: “MOOZLUM,” “MAHZLUM,” “MOZZLUM.” Even though they were making fun, it honestly made me love myself even more, because it sounded cool. Yeah, I’m a moozlm. I believe in what I believe, I don’t need to drink to be cool, I don't need people to like me, and I don’t have to conform to any stereotype. You all say it as a joke, but that’s my source of strength.

MUZLM is a play on that joke from back in the day. A tribute to a younger me who found pride in humiliation. It’s a subliminal message that says, “I am who I am, and I'll never change that inshallah.”

I’ll be MUZLM all day.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to empower Muslim youth to embrace their religion unapologetically, showing that style and faith can coexist. MUZLM is about promoting knowledge, love for Islam, love for Allah, and love for our deen, all while keeping it cool and clean for the street.

In other words... It ain't all about fashion. This is about being MUZLM.
